Sathya Sai birth anniversary fete concludes
Sri Sathya Sai Prema Sadan was reverberated with bhajans rendered by the students and staff of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar for universal peace and harmony. The five-day long 92nd birth anniversary celebrations of Satya Sai Baba concluded here on Thursday.

The students took oath to excel both in service to the needy and in academics to shine as responsible future citizens. The programme was held under the supervision of Principal Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar A Kausalya.
Later, City Seva Samithi distributed fruits to students at Shanthi Ashramam, deaf and dumb school and the inmates of hospital for mental care. State Spiritual and Cultural Coordinator MS Prakasa Rao conducted Sai divine vrathams in which hundreds of devotees took part seeking the blessings of Sathya Sai for universal peace and harmony.
Chairman of Vijay Nirman Company S Vijay Kumar inaugurated the celebrations by lighting the lamp for evening programmes. Senior Faculty Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning Prof Sai Surendranath delivered spiritual discourse.
He said that everyone should follow the path of sathya, dharma, shanthi, prema and ahimsa as advocated by Sathya Sai to ensure universal peace and harmony. On the occasion, ‘Sai Spandana’, a special magazine was released by the dignitaries to mark the 92nd birth anniverary celebrations. Convener of City Seva Samithi PRSN Naidu, along with the other devotees coordinated the programmes.
