The educated unemployed youth from North Coastal Andhra and Godavari districts received a big disappointment for cancelling the Job Mela organised at Nannayiah University in Rajamahendravaram on Friday.
The youth desperate for jobs arrived in big number to attend the job mela where nearly 30 companies made arrangements to recruit 2,500 members. But, the organizers displayed a board at the University that the mela gas been cancelled.
Leaders said the Rajanagaram MLA Pendurthi Venkatesh cancelled the mela angered over not including his photo on the flexis displayed at the university premises. Youth who already thronged the venue disappointed for not conducting the job mela. They were told the mela was shifted to Kakinada. Some them immediately rushed the other venue but failed to get jibs as a few companies only took part.
