LIV Life Hospital conducted an  Anti-Obesity’ walk in the city on Sunday on the occasion of Anti-Obesity Day to create an awareness on obesity related diseases. They conducted a 3 km walk from the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium to Raghavaiah Park in the city. 

Vijayawada: LIV Life Hospital conducted an Anti-Obesity’ walk in the city on Sunday on the occasion of Anti-Obesity Day to create an awareness on obesity related diseases. They conducted a 3 km walk from the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium to Raghavaiah Park in the city.

Minister for Irrigation Devineni Umamaheswra Rao stressed the need to take nutritious food and do exercises for remaining physically fit. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the state government was ready to extend its support to these kind of initiatives. He appreciated the efforts of the LIV Life team for highlighting the adverse effects of obesity on health.

Minister for Medical and Health Kamineni Srinivas extended his support to such type of programmes. He appreciated Dr Nanda Kishore for conducting the programme. Holding placards, hundreds of people participated in the walk.
