Transplant & medical ICU at Manipal Hospitals
Minister for Civil Supplies Prathipati Pulla Rao and Vice-Chancellor of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences Dr CV Rao inaugurated the state-of-the-art and exclusive transplant and medical ICU at Manipal Hospitals here on Wednesday.
Vijayawada: Minister for Civil Supplies Prathipati Pulla Rao and Vice-Chancellor of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences Dr CV Rao inaugurated the state-of-the-art and exclusive transplant and medical ICU at Manipal Hospitals here on Wednesday.
The ICU has 11 beds in individual rooms while the transplant ICU has 6 beds with the latest air lock lobby in the patient’s room. The rooms are built to provide world class services to patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sudhakar Kantipudi, unit head, Manipal Hospitals said, “Our aim is to provide excellence in patient care. It is not just defined by the number of surgeries or transplants performed, but it is about providing highest possible quality of care and service on a consistent basis and making a difference to patients’ lives.” Consultants in critical care Dr Srinivasan and Dr Srinivas Rao and clinical services chief Dr Manoj Kumar were present.
