Father-son duo held for job fraud

The Steel Plant police on Thursday arrested two persons in cheating case at Visakhapatnam steel plant. According to Circle Inspector Malla Seshu , a group of unemployed youth lodged a complaint against Nagireddy Pothayya and his son Venkata Ramana for cheating them by collecting money offering jobs in Steel Plant.
Visakhapatnam: The Steel Plant police on Thursday arrested two persons in cheating case at Visakhapatnam steel plant. According to Circle Inspector Malla Seshu , a group of unemployed youth lodged a complaint against Nagireddy Pothayya and his son Venkata Ramana for cheating them by collecting money offering jobs in Steel Plant.
The accused are working in Steel Plant and collected Rs 1.5 crore from many persons belonging to several places in Visakhapatnam. However, the father-son duo did not provide jobs to the aspirants and evaded the victims for a long time. The police registered a case and arrested the two after the victims staged a dharna at the police station demanding the arrest of the duo.
