National Energy Conservation Day celebrated

Director (Projects) of RINL PC Mohapatra was the chief guest highlighted the need to conserve energy to achieve energy conservation levels of 5.6 g/cal/per tonne of crude steel by increasing coal injection in the blast furnaces, BF fuel rate, BF productivity and BF gas usage to improve the efficiency in power generation also.
Energy conservation is one of the key parameters in steel making process, he added. Director (Commercial) P Raychaudhury, Director (Personnel) KC Das, Director (Finance) VV Venugopala Rao and Director (Operation) PK Rath were present on the occasion.Management Department has organised energy conservation road show to create awareness among the employees. Later, the dignitaries distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions conducted during the week.
