The 39th national conference of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) concluded here on Saturday. Chief executive Officers and media agencies of various communication houses attended the conference and spoke about various issues in the public relations. The speakers also shared vital points in creating smart outlets and refreshing branding for smart cities and smart thinking for cities.

Visakhapatnam: The 39th national conference of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) concluded here on Saturday. Chief executive Officers and media agencies of various communication houses attended the conference and spoke about various issues in the public relations. The speakers also shared vital points in creating smart outlets and refreshing branding for smart cities and smart thinking for cities.

The conference with its theme of ‘Emerging India: Smart Cities - Smart Communication’ was inaugurated by Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao. The Minister presented the best chapter award to CEO of Visakha Ads PLK Murthy of Visakhapatnam Chapter.

Ajit Pathak, National President of PRSI, Nivedita Banerjee, Secretary General, PRSI, and National Vice-President (South) US Sarma graced the occasion.

Senior Scientist (TCW) of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Daniel Chellappa, Executive Director (Corporate Communications and Branding) of Indian Oil Corporation Subodh Dakwale, Group Executive President- Corporate Communications and CSR Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pragnya Ram, Vice- President (Corporate affairs) ITC Kolkata

Nazeeb Arif, CEO of Symbiosis Technologies O Naresh Kumar, Director General of Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi KG Suresh, Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust MT Krishna Babu are a few speakers among several others who spoke on various issues in the conference.
