AP Minister backs Ghazal Srinivas, suspects conspiracy
Andhra Pradesh Minister Manikyala Rao on Wednesday backed Ghazal Srinivas who was mired in sexual harassment case. The Minister suspected a foul play in the episode in which a woman filed a case alleging that the Ghazal singer had been sexually harassed her.

Recalling his close association with Srinivas, the Minister said that Srinivas was not a person who harasses women.
Following the case, Ghazal Srinivas was stripped off his post — brand ambassador of the Save Temple organization which is a part of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation.
The victim was a divorced woman and colleague of the singer at Punjagutta office. She filed a complaint with the Punjagutta police on Tuesday alleging that singer had been seeking sexual favours. The police swiftly arrested him and sent him in remand. A video of the singer was also leaked to media.
