Telangana TDP senior leader Mothkupally Narsimhalu on Thursday advised TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu to merge Telangana unit of the party with the ruling TRS.

After paying floor tributes to party founder and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao at NTR ghat on eve of his 22nd death anniversary, the TDP leader expressed dissatisfaction over Chandrababu’s absence at the NTR Ghat.
Stating that there is a rumour doing the rounds regarding the non-existence of TDP in Telangana, Motkupalli Narasimhulu said that Chandrababu’s presence would have boosted the morale of party cadre.
Mentioning that the Chief Minister was not able to show due interest in revamping the party in Telangana, he said that TDP was almost on the verge of death and no one is making serious efforts to strengthen it further advising Chandrababu not to consider one-upmanship as his cabinet colleagues were those who had been working under him for long in TDP.
