GITAM student clears ACCA exam
A large number students from GITAM Institute of Management of GITAM Deemed University successfully completed Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) global exams conducted in December 2017.
Visakhapatnam: A large number students from GITAM Institute of Management of GITAM Deemed University successfully completed Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) global exams conducted in December 2017.
Revanth Nemani,a BCom (hons) student cleared all ACCA papers and eligible for ACCA global member. As many as 45 students cleared more than 55 subjects of ACCA and 22 students from 2nd and 3rd B Com (hons) successfully cleared the examinations conducted by ACCA.
The ACCA is the global professional accounting body offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification (ACCA). The ACCA has 2,00,000 members and 4,86,000 students in 180 countries. ACCA's headquarters are in London with principal administrative office in Glasgow.
It is recognised by member states of the European Union and the United Nations. Many multinational and local firms in 118 countries seek or require their employees to study for prestigious qualification. The ACCA professional qualification covers all areas of business, taxation, law, audit and ethics.
GITAM is the only educational institution offering this course along with BCom (hons) inVisakhapatnam. GITAM has integrated with ACCA and this is a unique and stress-free course as the curriculum designed in such a way that the student will study all the 17 papers of ACCA to ensure no additional training is required for ACCA examinations and the curriculum is designed in such a way that the students get seven ACCA papers exemption.
