Postal pensioners want wellness center at Ongole

Ongole: The members from All India Postal and RMS Pensioners Association of the Prakasam division staged a demonstration in front of the Ongole Head Post Office on Wednesday.
They raised slogans against the government for immediate issue of revised option-3 orders with notional fixation of pension on the actual pay scales implemented for serving employees rather than the equivalent replacement scale of the retired employee. They also demanded the government to establish the wellness center at Ongole, Vijayawada and other district headquarters for the facility of employees under Central Government Health Scheme.
The state president of AIPRPA, P Peraiah and other leaders Ch Rambabu, N Venkata Rao, K venkateswarlu, K Veeraswami Reddy presented a memorandum to the Head Post Office post master P Venkateswara Rao, and requested him to forward the same to the government for appropriate action.
