Will develop Nellore on par with other civic bodies
Nellore Urban Development Authority (NUDA) Chairman K Srinivasulu Reddy said they would develop city on par with other civic bodies such as Mumbai and Ahmedabad replicating the excellent programmes being implemented there.

Interacting with the media here on Friday, the NUDA Chairman said they had visited civic bodies in Mumbai and Ahmedabad recently and found excellent programmes and some of them are very good for Nellore city and would be implemented here.
He admitted that there was paucity of funds for the NUDA but he exuded confidence that they would overcome with the support of the Chief Minister for allocating funds especially for the district.
He said they were preparing plans on the basis of direct experience in the huge civic bodies and would be taken up with the support of local population. He said progress is possible only during Telugu Desam regime. Vice-Chairman Dilli Rao was also present.
