Srikakulam: All the parties complained to Electoral Rolls Observer for Srikakulam district SS Rawath on voter lists. He conducted an all-party meeting, along with officials at Zilla Parisahd meeting hall, here on Friday on voters’ lists, corrections and new enrollments. 

On the occasion BJP, Congress, TDP, YSRCP, CPI and CPM representatives raised issues on mistakes in voters’ lists, removal of names of eligible from the lists without following proper method, not resolving complaints regarding voters’ lists by conducting scientific verification. 

TDP, BJP, YSRCP, Congress, CPM representatives Ch Narayana Murthy, Ch Venkateswara Rao, K Jogulu, Ratna Narasimhamurthy, M Tirupathi Rao explained to the Electoral Rolls Observer on the removal of names from voters lists without checking facts.

They alleged that more than one lakh persons’ names have been removed from the voters’ lists so far in 10 Assembly segments across the district. They demanded for quick rectification.
