New Delhi: YSR Congress Party leaders on Monday morning began a Maha Dharna at Sansad Marg in New Delhi for achieving Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh.Hundreds of YSRCP leaders and activists took part in the dharna.
Participating in the dharna, party MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy lashed out at AP CM Chandrababu Naidu saying that the latter is unfit to be Sarpanch of a village also. He said that Chandrababu failed in fulfilling the promises and also convincing the centre on the long pending special status issue.
Another MP YV Subba Reddy said that the YSRCP will continue the struggle for special status to Andhra Pradesh until the people's aspirations are realised. Special status is the 'Sanjivani' for the development of Andhra Pradesh, he added.
