PM Narendra Modi speaks to Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu

Amravati: Amid growing political tensions between the BJP and TDP over the issue of injustice meted to the state of Andhra Pradesh and centres decision not to grant special status, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday spoke to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for about 10 minutes.
It is learnt that Naidu explained the circumstances that had forced him to take the decision to withdraw his ministers form the union cabinet and how the SCS sentiment had gripped the state. The response from PM it is said was lukewarm.
Meanwhile, the two TDP ministers in the Union Cabinet will meet PM Modi at 6pm today. They were directed on Wednesday by the Andhra Pradesh CM to submit their resignations.
