In view of the withdrawal of nomination of Prashanthi Reddy, wife of YSRCP leader Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, only three candidates remained in the fray facilitating their unanimous elections.
The candidates who got elected unopposed are TDP’s CM Ramesh and Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar and Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy of the YSRCP. Prasanthi Reddy was a dummy candidate.
