Class X girl ends life
Class X girl K Meghana (16) committed suicide when her mother reprimanded her for watching TV instead of concentrating on studies. The incident took place at Shivajinagar located at Arilova Colony in the city on Wednesday.
Visakhapatnam: Class X girl K Meghana (16) committed suicide when her mother reprimanded her for watching TV instead of concentrating on studies. The incident took place at Shivajinagar located at Arilova Colony in the city on Wednesday.
According to police, the victim was writing Class X final examinations at Totagaruvu government high school. On Tuesday night, Meghana’s mother scolded her when she was watching TV instead of preparing for next exam and switched off the TV.
After some time, Bujji called her for dinner, as there is no reply from her, Bujji opened the bedroom and found that Meghana was hanging from the ceiling fan.
The parents immediately shifted her to the nearest hospital where doctors declared brought dead. Police registered a case and body was sent for post-mortem. After the post-mortem the body was handed over to parents.
