Lovers commit suicide
Lovers committed suicide by hanging from a tree under Anandapuram police station limits here on Wednesday. Locals, who saw the bodies, informed the police. On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.

During the inquiry, police identified the bodies as 28-year-old B Revathi and 32-year-old Y Ramji alias Haribabu. Both the victims are residents of Kovvuru village in Rolugunta mandal in the district. Revathi’s parents lodged a complaint with Narsipatnam police on March 19 stating that their daughter went for shopping on March 17 and did not return home.
They also informed the police that Haribabu and Revathi fell in love and Haribabu was also not missing from home. Based on a complaint, police registered a missing case and launched a probe.Police recovered a motorbike bearing No AP 31 DV 8932, two bags and four mobile phones from the spot. The bodies were sent for post-mortem and further investigation is on.
