Governor visits Maha Samadhi of Baba
Governor of AP and Telangana states E S L Narasimhan arrived here on Friday at Puttaparthi to visit the Maha Samadhi of Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba.
Puttaparthi (Anantapur): Governor of AP and Telangana states E S L Narasimhan arrived here on Friday at Puttaparthi to visit the Maha Samadhi of Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba.
After his arrival in Bengaluru by a special flight, he proceeded to Puttaparthi by road and arrived at Prashanthi Nilayam at 12 noon. After arriving at Shanthi Bhavan guest house, he visited the Maha Samadhi where he offered prayers to the Baba. He returned to Shanthi Bhavan and spent some time with the trust members Ratnakar and Prasada Rao.
Those who welcomed the Governor included District Collector Veera Pandian, SP G V G Ashok Kumar, Kadiri RDO Ramamohan and trustees Ratnakar and Prasada Rao. The Governor enquired from the trustees on the on-going activities. He was given a ceremonial send-off by officials and non-officials to Bengaluru.
