Kuchipudi diploma courses at Krishna University

The Kuchipudi campus of Krishna University will introduce diploma courses in Kuchipudi dance and music from this academic year. According to vice-chanceller of the university Prof S Ramakrsihna Rao, a studio would soon be set up in the university and foriegners would be imparted training in Kuchipudi art form.

According to vice-chanceller of the university Prof S Ramakrsihna Rao, a studio would soon be set up in the university and foriegners would be imparted training in Kuchipudi art form.
He said the university would soon recruit 14 associate professors, 20 assistant professor and six professors. He said the new campus construction work was nearing completion and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu would formally inaugurate it in the month of May.
He said the new buildings would be fitted with solar systems for energy supply. He said Rs 4 crore would be spent for this.
