The authorities announced that in the 231 constables, 141 are from Guntur rural, 77 from West Godavari and 13 from Vijayawada city police district. They informed that there are 67 B Tech and three M Tech graduates, 31 PG holders and nine MCA completed candidates and 88 degree graduates in the trainee constables.

The PTC principal, ABTS Udayarani announced that constables were trained in IPC, CRPC, local acts, personality development, police administration and documentation, keeping law and order, crimes and investigation, forensic science, forensic medicine, intelligence, internal security and other subjects as part of the training.

She also said that they were provided training in yoga, squad drill, lathi drill, mob operation, map reading, field craft, first aid, firing and other required skills to make them rough and tough to carry on any duty.

She announced that they were also trained in swimming, driving, self-defence to work in emergencies and natural calamities. She said that Nadipani Srinivas from West Godavari district stood as best indoor, best outdoor and best all-rounder candidate, while O Rajendra Prasad from Guntur rural district stands as best shooter and Sirigineedi Ramesh from West Godavari district stood as best candidate in parade.

Minister Siddha Raghavarao praised the police department for its services in keeping the law and order and control of crime and said that everything in society would be perfect when police department was perfect. He advised the candidates to be people-friendly and bring good name to the department with their services.

The SP, BS Yesubabu appreciated the constables for completing the tough training and doing beautiful parade. He said that the trainee constables were mostly tech-savvy and advised them to build their career by improving their skills and cooperating with the public.

The PTC principal and additional SP, ABTS Udayarani, Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao, DSPs and other police personnel also attended the passing out parade along with the family members of the trainee constables.
