SPMVV invites applications for dual degree in engineering and science
Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV), Tirupati has been inviting applications for dual degree course in Engineering in partnership with Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTT), Sweden for the academic year 2018-19.
Tirupati: Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV), Tirupati has been inviting applications for dual degree course in Engineering in partnership with Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTT), Sweden for the academic year 2018-19.
The students admitted in this course would be studying their B.Tech for three years in the university and one year at BTT, Sweden. The Dean of International Relations Prof D Sarada, said that 30 students, 10 each for three branches of engineering - B.Tech., Mechanical, ECE and CSE will get the opportunity to study in Blekinge Institute of Technology.
Selection will be based on the ranks obtained in JEE (Mains)/AP EAMCET/T EAMCET/Marks in BIE or equivalent in the order of preference indicated. After completion, the B.Tech. degree will be awarded by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam by transfer of credits. The Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden will also award Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree under double degree scheme.
SPMVV has signed MoU with Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden in August, 2016 to establish and encourage mutually beneficial scientific, technological, educational relations for exchange of students, staff, for cooperation in skill development and research programs.
Apart from the admission and tuition fee for three years at SPMVV, the student has to bear Rs.11 lakhs of fee, accommodation and living expenses in BTT, Sweden.
The last date for receipt of application is July 10, 2018. Interviews will be held on 24 and 25 July, 2018. For further details students may contact the Office of Dean, International Relations, SPMVV.
