6 sovereigns of gold burgled from house
Unknown burglars broke open a house in Gollayagudem area in Eluru city and decamped with 6 sovereigns of gold ornaments, 400 grams of silver articles and Rs 5,000 cash.
Eluru: Unknown burglars broke open a house in Gollayagudem area in Eluru city and decamped with 6 sovereigns of gold ornaments, 400 grams of silver articles and Rs 5,000 cash. According to police here on Monday, Gudipudi Suman, a bullet mechanic is residing in Gollayagudem in one town area of Eluru city with his family. His mother was residing at Indiramma Colony in Kothuru.
As his mother died two days back, he along with his family went to Kothuru to perform last rites of his mother. On Sunday also, he stayed at Indiramma Colony. Some unknown burglars broke open the main door on Sunday night and decamped with valuables. On Monday , when Suman along with his family members returned to his house, found the main door was open. He immediately complained the one-town police.
Acting on the complaint, One-town CI Adapa Naga Murali and SI N Kishore Babu reached to the spot and enquired the neighbours about the burglary. Clues team also plunged into action. A case has been registered in the one-town police station.
