Jana Sena Party will not allow destruction of natural resources
Destruction is going on in the name of development, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan charged. He visited Beela wet lands in Sompeta mandal on Monday.
Srikakulam: Destruction is going on in the name of development, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan charged. He visited Beela wet lands in Sompeta mandal on Monday. A private thermal power plant (TPP) was proposed at Beela lands during the Congress regime. Later Pawan paid rich tributes at a tower built in memory of deceased persons who died in police firing at the time of agitation against TPP at Beela lands.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan warned that Jana Sena will not allow damage to environment in the name of development. Governments are encouraging destruction of natural resources in the name of industrialisation and employment generation, he said and added the growth and development should not create any hurdle for environmental balance.
Later Pawan reached to Palasa town in the evening and stopped his Porata Yatra here. Large number of youth reached to see Pawan Kalyan. Pawan will continue his yatra from Tuesday morning in Palasa and surrounding areas.
