Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday congratulated Mayor Koneru Sridhar, Municipal Commissioner J Nivas and the people of the city for securing fourth rank among the cleanest cities in the country with over 10 lakh population recently.
Vijayawada: Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday congratulated Mayor Koneru Sridhar, Municipal Commissioner J Nivas and the people of the city for securing fourth rank among the cleanest cities in the country with over 10 lakh population recently.
The Mayor, Commissioner and other officials visited the Swarna Bharati Trust at Atkur near Gannavaram on Tuesday. Kiren Rijiju presented a memento to Municipal Commissioner J Nivas and congratulated for securing the fourth place in Swacch Survekshan award recently. Students of the VMC Schools who secured 10 GPA points were felicitated at the Trust.
