Bike lifter arrested; 14 motorcycles recovered
The Central Crime Station (CCS) cops nabbed a habitual offender and recovered Rs 6 lakh worth 14 motorcycles from him. The accused was identified as P Naresh.
Nellore: The Central Crime Station (CCS) cops nabbed a habitual offender and recovered Rs 6 lakh worth 14 motorcycles from him. The accused was identified as P Naresh.
According to the CCS DSP M Balasundar Rao, Naresh is from Ramakrishna Nagar in Buchireddypalem and had addicted to bad habits. He committed many offences including vehicle thefts for easy money in Nellore, Chittoor and Kadapa districts.
Naresh was an expert in bike lifting and involved in 14 bike lifting offences in Nellore, Chittoor, Krishna districts and Vijayawada for the last two years. Keeping an eye on the movements of the accused, CCS police along with Chinna bazaar cops arrested him,’ said the DSP.
He was caught on May 23 near Irakalamma temple centre in the city, he added. Chinna bazaar Sub-Inspector Sk Kareemullah, CCS Sub-Inspector K Murali Prasad and others were present.
