Amaravati: The Guntur, East and West Godavari districts were performing the best in the State in organising the seven-day long State government programme Nava Nirmana Deeksha, according to the available statistics on the first three days.

Revealing the performance statistics of each district during a teleconference with officials on the fourth day of the Nava Nirmana Deeksha on Tuesday, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the districts including Kadapa, Kurnool and Srikakulam showed poor performance.

Stating that the public satisfaction increased to 80 per cent on the third day of Nava Nirmana Deeksha over implementation of welfare schemes and developmental programmes, he suggested to the officials to actively participate in the remaining four days of the Deeksha programme.

He said that if 100 per cent people’s satisfaction is achieved, then the productivity will automatically increase in the State and officials must work to achieve the objective.

The satisfaction levels among the public on various parameters: 57 per cent expressed satisfaction on drinking water supply, 53 per cent on Polavaram works, 58 per cent on interlinking of rivers, 48 per cent on Neeru-Pragathi programme, 54 per cent on farmers loan waiver, 56 per cent on Rythu Ratham and Polam Pilustondi.

After revealing these facts, Chandrababu Naidu said that he would take feedback from public on the remaining programmes and departments and cautioned the officials to solve the problems in their respective departments. Reacting on the Opposition leaders’ criticism on the State government, Chandrababu Naidu said their mindset could be changed through the positive attitude.

He urged all the officials to participate in the programme and visit villages to create awareness among rural people. The Sadhikara Mitras must visit each house in every village, Chandrababu Naidu directed. They must identify local problems and inform the same to higher officials to get them solved.

The Chief Minister suggested to officials to take precautionary measures related to thunderbolts and other natural calamities based on the warning messages from Real Time Governance (RTG).

It is worth to mention here that, the RTG has been sending warning messages and alerts on the expected thunderbolts, movement of wind currents and abnormal changes in the weather conditions on real-time basis, using the latest technology.
