Vizag students bag medals in SOF Olympiad
Visakhapatnam students made their parents and citizens proud by bagging international rank in the SOF Olympiad. In all, 45,000 schools from 1,400 cities across 30 countries participated in the sixth SOF Olympiad examination during 2017-18 and millions students appeared in the Olympiad.

Visakhapatnam city came out with flying colours in the Olympiad. In International English Olympiad, International first rank was bagged by Tanvi Lele of Class IX from Timpany School, and secured gold medal, merit certificate and Rs 50,000 cash award.
In International Mathematical Olympiad, International first rank was bagged by KVR Hemant Kumar of Class XII from Sri Chaitanya Junior College and got gold medal, merit certificate and Rs 50,000 cash award.
In the International General Knowledge Olympiad, International third rank was achieved by Kinjangi Likitha of Class IX from Priyanka's Vidyodaya High School and got bronze medal, merit certificate and Rs.10,000 cash award.
