Bees attacked on the Marathon walk of YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy on his 183rd day Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Kanuru village of Peravali mandal of West Godavari district on Thursday afternoon. Following the attack of bees, several people received minor injuries with the stings of the bees.

Following the attack of bees, several people received minor injuries with the stings of the bees.

However, YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy continued his walk in the village though some bees attacked him. The personal security personnel of Jagan surrounded their leader to save him from the bees’ attack by waving their kerchiefs around Jagan.

Jagan who completed his 183rd Marathon walk at Nadipallikota outskirts in Nidadavole Assembly constituency and passed on up to Kanuru Cross in Peravalimandal. When Jagan reached the Kondalamma temple area in Kanuru village, suddenly bees flew from a mango tree and attacked the Jagan’s marathon walk. The people who are walking behind and in front of Jagan ran helter-skelter with panic.

A TV Channel reporter, some other villagers injured in the bees attack. The security personnel and rope party personnel also received bee bites. Peravali police personnel including SI and CI also received the stings from the bees. The Channel reporter was admitted in Nidadavole hospital.

Actually, the honey beetle was situated on a Mango tree behind the Kondalamma temple. When some youth tried to target mangos on the tree, the Bees went on a rampage around the temple. Over half an hour the people ran helter-skelter fearing of the bee bite.
