Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan both participated in a religious programme organised by Dattapeethadhipati Ganapathi Sachhidananda Swamiji at Acharya Nagarjuna University on Friday. On the occasion, the two leaders spent for about 25 minutes with the godman in one of the rooms in the Rain Tree Park opposite university.

On the occasion, the two leaders spent for about 25 minutes with the godman in one of the rooms in the Rain Tree Park opposite university.
After the meeting, Naidu left the venue and Pawan stayed back for some time, witnessing the rituals performed by the seer. He visited the temple and performed special pujas and abhishekams also.
Earlier, the two happened to move together at the installation of Dasavarata Sri Venkataramana idol and Dhwajasthambam. At the time, they limited their interaction to exchanging smiles without talking to each other.
It may be reminded that Pawan was supporting Chief Minister N Chandrababu government till a few months ago and enjoyed respect for his positive approach. However, in recent months, he started attacking Naidu even personally alleging corruption.
He also levelled allegations against panchayat raj minister Nara Lokesh and demanded the TDP government to give clarification to the questions raised by former TTD chief priest Ramana Deekshitulu and to the allegations that rose diamond of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy was flown to foreign countries.
He also added that a senior IPS officer had informed him in this regard. Pawan also stated that the reply given by the government was not satisfactory with regard to missing jewellery. Though the TDP second rank leaders responded to his allegations, Naidu always chose to remain calm.
Pawan Kalayan started criticising Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at a public meeting held in the Bible Mission Grounds in Guntur district. Both leaders again met in IJM Rain Tree Park near the Bible Mission Grounds. Jana Sena chief who is on district tours, wants to spend more time in the Capital city in view of forthcoming general elections.
When more than 30 persons died of diarrhoea in Guntur city recently, Pawan came to Guntur city and visited the diarrhoea patients in the health camps. He warned that he would go on fast if the state government fail to take steps to stop diarrhoea deaths.
The government responded and transferred the then GMC commissioner Ch Anuradha and sent Principal Secretary for Health Punam Malakondaiah, Principal Secretary for Municipal Administration Karikalavalavan, Director of Municipal Administration V Kannababu to Guntur city.
