Amaravati: Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishna Murthy alleged that the BJP, YSR Congress and Jana Sena were spreading lies over the issues of Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam and blaming the state government without presenting any evidence.

In a press release on Friday, Krishna Murthy said Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan was misleading the people by making baseless allegations as the party also became part of conspiracy of YSR Congress and BJP. He said that though the Pavan Kalyan did not have any reliable information on his own, he made allegations against IT minister Lokesh, and now he was doing the same over TTD issue.

“Pawan is speaking in support of some persons, who are trying to tarnish the image of TTD. It is better to him to support former chief priest of TTD Ramana Deekshitulu, who do not have any credibility. Ramana Deekshitulu lost his credibility with his meetings with BJP chief Amith Shah and YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy and people knew conspiracy of BJP and YSRC against the state government over TTD issue,” he said.

Krishna Murthy asked Pawan Kalyan why he was silent if he had been told by an IPS officer that jewellery of TTD went missing. He said that Justice Wadhwa Committee gave report on jewellery of TTD and the government was ready to bring the all records of TTD on jewellery to available to the people. “The government has records regarding jewellery of Lord Venkateswara from 1952.

There were no records about the ornaments presented to TTD before 1952 (including ornaments presented by king Krishna Devaraya and others prominent people),” the minister said. Ramana Deekshitulu did not have any gratitude towards Lord Venkatewara though he was chief priest to the temple for decades.

“Ramana Deekshitulu is making baseless allegations and spreading lies. The sentiments of devotees got hurt due to political allegations of Ramana Deekshitulu over TTD issue. He also conducted press meet in Hyderabad along with rowdy-sheeter B Anil,” the minister said.
