Kadapa: A person killed his wife suspecting her fidelity. This tragic incident took place at Chinthalamadugu Palli village in Vempalli mandal in the early hours on Monday.
According to the sources, Chinni Chenna Kesavulu got married to Subbalalakshamma of the same village 20 years ago. They have no children.
Kesavulu is pursuing a small business. Subbalalakshamma was working as an agricultural labourer. Kesavulu suspected that his wife was having an illicit relationship with another person.
He had a heated exchange with his wife late on Sunday night. Later, he battered his wife to death with an iron rod and fled from the spot. Around 7 am on Monday, the neighbours went to their house and found Subbalakshamma lying dead in a pool of blood. Pulivendula DSP Nagaraju and CI Ramakrishnudu visited the scene of offence. Vempalli police registered a case and are investigating.
