Lawyers urged to popularise Lok Adalat services

Pithapuram: The 12th Additional District Judge G Lakshminarasimha Reddy on Tuesday told lawyers to ensure that the litigants make better use of the Lok Adalat session to be held here on July 14.
Petty criminal cases, excise cases, pronote, cheques, cheque bouncing cases, pre-litigation cases, road accident cases, insurance claims cases and disputes with various government departments can be settled during the Lok Adalat sessions.
Both the litigating parties will find an amicable solution to the problem. The court fee paid by litigants will be returned to the litigants.
He asked the advocates to encourage litigants to avail the facility.
Senior civil judge CK Gayatri, principal junior civil judge K Haribabu, additional junior civil judge V Divya, Bar Association president P Bhanu Murti, senior advocates and others took part in the programme.
