MLA Janardhana Rao inaugurates blood bank at KIMS

Ongole: The Ongole MLA, Damacharla Janardhana Rao inaugurated the blood bank at the KIMS Hospital here on Sunday.
The hospital executive director T Giri Naidu announced that the blood bank was established with advanced machinery and latest technology in KIMS to provide best service to the public.
He said that with this blood bank, now they can provide all groups of blood and blood components like whole blood, packed red cells, platelet rich plasma, fresh frozen plasma, random donor platelets, cryoprecipitate, white blood cells, and single donor cells which can save the patients from Dengue.
He expressed happiness over the expansion of services of their hospital and promised that their treatments are always available to the public.
The MLA Janardhana Rao appreciated the hospital management for bringing out such sophisticated and advanced blood bank to Ongole and expected that the public use their services.
The hospital general manager, Murthy Satuluri and Superintendent S Venkateswarlu expressed happiness for establishing the first corporate hospital attached blood bank in Prakasam district.
Shaiak Abdul Khadar, the blood bank director and Shaik Abdul Malik, blood bank manager said that they serve to save the lives of the public by keeping a stock of all groups of blood ready for transfusion.
