Visakhapatnam: The Indian Navy came forward to collaborate with Andhra University in 10 research projects as a part of the Andhra University-Defence Academic Project, said Vice-Admiral GS Pabby, Chief of Materiel, Indian Navy Headquarters, here on Wednesday.

The Vice-Admiral held discussions with Vice-Chancellor Prof G Nageswara Rao and other officials of the university as a part of his visit to the Eastern Naval Command.

Speaking on the occasion, Pabby said that the Indian Navy Chief has been showing keen interest in collaborating with Andhra University in the areas of academic and research. He said that the Indian Navy and Andhra University would sign the Memorandum of Understanding on research collaborations.
