Visakhapatnam: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitaraman on Saturday tweeted that there will be no curbs on flights landing in the Visakhapatnam Airport.
Andhra Pradesh Air Travellers Association (APATA) thanked the Defence Minister for agreeing to the APATA's plea and allowing 24/7 civilian flight operations at the Visakhapatnam Airport.
In an official release, APATA Vice-Presidents K Kumar Raja, DS Varma and O Naresh Kumar also thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Visakhapatnam MP K Haribabu who intervened in the issue and successfully cancelled the Navy's restrictions on the civilian flights at the Visakhapatnam Airport.
