MSME official pats students for innovative projects at SRKR Engineering College in Bhimavaram

Bhimavaram: The Central government has extended financial support to engineering colleges through Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME), according to its MSME additional industrial advisor D Chandrasekhar.
He participated in the governing body meeting organised at SRKR Engineering College here on Thursday and said that they had observed innovative projects made by the college students on safeguarding environment, needs of society, Swatchh Bharat inspiration projects.
They had finalized eight projects and these selected projects will be finalized at Delhi once again and each selected project will be given Rs 6.25 lakh financial support.
The government would also give financial support for production, he said and appreciated Smart Toilet project developed by the college faculty member.
The college principal Dr G Parthasaradhi Varma, MSME assistant director KC Chowdary, college faculty Dr K Gopalakrishnamurthy and others were present.
