Three killed in separate clashes
Three persons were killed in two separate clashes between groups at Vooruchinta village in Tadipatri mandal and at Kamanamala village in Putluru mandal in the district on Friday
Anantapur: Three persons were killed in two separate clashes between groups at Vooruchinta village in Tadipatri mandal and at Kamanamala village in Putluru mandal in the district on Friday.
According to the police, two persons were killed at Voruchinta village in Tadipatri mandal when local people clashed in an inebriated condition on a trivial issue at a wine shop.
The locals clashed attacking each other with glass bottles and stones killing two people on the spot. The deceased were identified as Venkataramana and Naga Rangaiah of Vooruchinta village. In the clash six persons sustained bleeding injuries.
In another incident, two groups clashed over the ownership of a small bunk resulting in the death of one person. The deceased is yet to be identified by the police. Tadipatri police are investigating into the real causes behind the two clashes.
