Gamidi Sambasiva Rao to represent India in Laser Run Championship to be held at Ireland from October 28

Guntur: Gamidi Sambasiva Rao has been selected as coach for Indian team representing World Modern Pentathlon Laser Run Championship to be held at Ireland from October 28.

In a statement, state Modern Pentathlon Sangam general secretary K Krishnaiah informed that at present, Gamidi Sambasiva Rao is working as a head constable in Vijayawada city and working as a coach for Andhra Pradesh Police Athletes team. 

Earlier, he worked as All India Police Athletes team coach. 

Auditor and district ball badminton association secretary Damacherla Srinivasa Rao and APBA treasurer  T Sampath Kumar felicitated Sambasiva Rao at a programme held  at NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium here.
