Ongole: Minister for forests Siddha Raghava Rao announced that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will tour Prakasam district on November 2 and 3.
The minister instructed the officials to make foolproof arrangements for the two-day tour. Raghava Rao said that the CM will visit Veligonda project, participate in Gramadarsin-iprogramme at Degaramudi village and a public meeting in Martur on November 2. He visited the village and public meeting place along with the officials and made suggestions and directions to them on Tuesday.
District collector Vadarevu Vinay Chand visited the Veligonda project on Tuesday and inspected the tunnel and helipad place. The collector said that the Chief Minister will reach the Veligonda by 10 am and switch on the trial run of conveyor belt. Later, he will go through the photo exhibition on works being done at Kollamvagu Head Regulator and review with the contractors, he added.
The collector said that CM will reach Degaramudi by 12 pm and particiate in Gramadarsini at Degaramudi and public meeting at Martur at 3 pm. He will reach Ongole and spends the evening and next day in meetings with his party leaders, the collector said.
