BJP condoles death of Ananta Kumar

Kakinada: East Godavari BJP unit condoled the demise of Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister and six term Lok Sabha member from Karnataka Anantha Kumar.

At the programme organized here on Monday, leaders paid rich tributes to the departed leader.

Ananta Kumar expired late on Sunday night while undergoing  treatment at a hospital in Benguluru.

Speaking on the occasion, district party president Y Malakondayya hailed the services of Ananta Kumar as MP and as minister in the ministries of both Atal  Bihari  Vajpayeee in  1999  and Narendra Modi in the present cabinet after the BJP came to power in 2014.

The party city unit president, Ch Srinivas , party leaders Korada Lakshmi  Tulasi, Pydah Venkata Narayana and other leaders attended.
