Eluru: Students of VV Giri Govt College, Dumpagadapa in association with Leo Club of Akiveedu Adarsha organised a rally to mark World AIDS Day on Saturday.
The students displayed placards with slogans like ‘No cure for AIDS, prevention is better’.
Speaking on the occasion, the college principal Haranadh said that called upon the students not fall prey to the AIDS. He said the youth should not deviate from disciplined life and take preventive steps to be healthy.
The club regional secretary, Phani Seshagiri Rao and others emphasized on the need for awareness among people over the deadly disease.
At the end of the rally, a human chain was formed in Dumpagadapa village.
