Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Intellectuals Forum convener Chalasani Srinivas requested the people not to react on the provoking acts of political parties in the present Telangana elections.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, he said that the people are living without any division in Telangana State. But some of them are trying to create disputes among people in the name of region, caste and other issues during the period of elections.
He said that people of various States in the country are living in Hyderabad peacefully. He recalled that some of them provoked people during the Telangana agitation in the past. He said that the Telugu people are equal and the political parties should not create any disputes among them.
He requested the people not to believe any controversial comments related to castes and regions. He took strong objection to the attitude of political parties for indulging in criticism of people’s organisations and their leaders. He said that now the election time is crucial and everyone should act with responsibility.
