The dispute between members of Durga Temple Trust Board and Executive Officer EO once again flared up during the board meeting which was held on Monday to discuss arrangements for relinquishment of Bhavani deekshas
Vijayawada: The dispute between members of Durga Temple Trust Board and Executive Officer (EO) once again flared up during the board meeting which was held on Monday to discuss arrangements for relinquishment of Bhavani deekshas.
The Executive Officer questioned the Board members for their support to recently suspended staff while members told her that she should have questioned the chairman instead of them.
The Board members took part in a meeting chaired by Chairman Y Gouranga Babu along with EO V Koteswaramma. On this occasion, the EO raised the issue and opposed the involvement of members in the administration matters. However, the members said that the EO should consider the opinions of Trust Board.
Meanwhile, the meeting decided to implement dress code to the staff from January 1. The board has also taken a decision fixing Suprabhata Seva fee Rs 300 per ticket. Trust Board members Velagapudi Sankar Babu, G Padmashekar and some others were present.
