Vijayawada: A first century AD Buddhist cave, located on Alluri Paramatma Road in Mogalrajpuram here is lost among house structures is not in access to the tourists, according to Dr E Sivanagi Reddy, CEO, CCVA.

He, along with Golla Narayana Rao, secretary, Andhra Arts Academy, on Tuesday visited the caves as part the campaign ‘Preserve Heritage for Posterity’ launched by the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati.

Dr Reddy appealed the superintending archaeologist, Amaravati circle, ASI, to erect a directional sign board on the main road, so that both tourists and general public can easily accessed to the cave of historical and archaeological significance.
