The 1.2-litre, U2 CRDi diesel engine under the Grand i10's hood makes 75PS of max power at 4,000rpm with the peak torque rated at 190Nm@1,750-2,250rpm. The 1.1-litre CRDi engine of the Xcent currently develops 72PS of max power at 4000rpm and makes 180Nm@1,750-2,500rpm.

On the outside, expect the Xcent facelift to share the front grille and the front bumper with the Grand i10 facelift. So, new bits like LED DRLs, new front grille and fog lamp housing should become a part of the exterior makeover. The rear should also get a redesigned bumper and split tail lamps.
