Recently seen as Mahesh Babu’s sibling in ‘Srimanthudu’, Nikkita Anil is currently awaiting to join the final schedule of Nagarjuna and Karthi-starrer ‘Oopiri’. “I have a few combination sequences with Tamannaah, so we are waiting for her to adjust dates,” she smiles.

The actress plays Karthi’s sister in the Telugu-Tamil bilingual. “Jayasudha ma’am plays my mother and we have a lot of sequences together. We are from a slum backdrop in the film but my character has an urban-feel to it, “she shares. Describing Karthi as sweet, she giggles, “He has pretty much stood with me throughout my Telugu dialogues since the language was a bit difficult for me.”

The actress has managed to have a rendezvous with Nagarjuna. “Director Vamsi Paidipally introduced me to him. Upon meeting him, the first thing he said was ‘oh, you are playing Karthi’s sister?’ We had a sweet conversation.” Hasn’t she signed any new Telugu film? “I’ve been approached but I’m taking it slow coz I’m’ doing a couple of female-centric films in Tamil presently.”
