Ghazi turns Satyadev into a sonar operator

Actor Satyadev, who impressed one and all with his performance in Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’ last year, Talkies has learnt, is playing a key role in Rana Daggubati-starrer ‘Ghazi’, the fresh schedule of which will start in Hyderabad shortly.

“He is playing Sonar Operator in the film. He speaks in technical terms and the whole drama unfolds around him since he is the eyes of the submarine. The character has a lot of weight,” said a source close to the unit.

A directorial venture of Sankalp, the film is partly based on the book Blue Fish written by the director himself. Rana is playing a naval officer on board the Indian submarine while Kay Menon, Atul Kalkarni and Priyadarshi Pulikonda are playing strong supporting roles.
