Lavanya Tripathi is slowly but surely transforming into a better actress as she chooses to break the stereotype with each film. From playing traditional roles to essaying girl next door, she has played both roles with elegance. In an attempt to enhance her acting chops, the Miss Uttarakhand, we hear, will be seen as a psychiatrist for her forthcoming Tamil film directed by CV Kumar (opposite Sundeep Kishan).

“It’s a very matured and a realistic character, and something that I have not played thus far. I play a psychiatrist and I look very stylish too (smiles). I did a bit of research on how psychiatrists behave and how they tune and counsel all the people who come to them. My performance will be subtle and not energetic like in my previous films. Sundeep and I have been friends since a long time and it’s nice to work with a co-star who you already know,” she reveals.

The former model, who has already made her debut in Tamil with ‘Brahman’, a couple of years back, feels she has learnt a lot since her maiden project. “When I made my debut, I was new to the language (Tamil) but now I can better understand and express. Also, my confidence levels have grown up when it comes to dialogue delivery after delivering a couple of hits projects in Telugu. Definitely, the successes of those films have greatly impacted my performance,” the actress states.
