Nandita to shoot for an action scene in Telugu

After featuring in noteworthy Tamil films such as ‘Attakathi’ and ‘Mundasupatti’, Nandita Swetha’s wish of making her Telugu debut comes true with her forthcoming film ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada’, directed by Vi Anand.

Talking about her role, she says, “I play a homely and independent girl and hero’s (Nikhil) love interest. The second half of the film unveils my true colours, and it’s an impactful and performance-oriented role. I’m glad that I got such a role in my debut itself and I’m sure the project lends more credibility to the entire cast. It’s a fantastic experience working in Telugu.”

Close on the heels of her Tamil film ‘Nenjam Marappathillai' where the actress participated in an action scene, her forthcoming Telugu film too features an action episode. “I shot an action sequence for Selvaraghavan’s film and the preparation took a toll on my body. I suffered bruises and injured quite a few times.

But it was all thrilling and I’m waiting for the audience response. I’m also looking forward to shoot for the Telugu action sequence as well,” expresses the Bengaluru-born. - SA
